in the villages
The clinic is moved to a different village each day which requires impressive logistic effort. Medicines, instruments, bandages and even the microscope are packed in boxes; while there are about twenty of those, setting up a clinic takes our Peruvian team about half an hour. Getting to the villages on the big river Maranon is always a treat since the area of Pacaya-Samiria showcases immense natural beauty.
